About Dan Smith
Dan Smith is an attorney at THE COYE LAW FIRM. Dan was raised in Orlando where he graduated from Edgewater High School. While at Edgewater, Dan was active in sports, including wrestling, football, weightlifting and track and field. Dan graduated number one in his college from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2002 were he majored in Legal Studies and minored in Criminal Justice. Dan attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and graduated magna cum laude in 2005. While at the University of Florida, Dan served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also interned for the Honorable Martha Ann Lott, Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Alachua County and also performed his clinical training at the Gator Team Child Juvenile Law Clinic. Upon graduation, Dan was invited to membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif. Mr. Smith was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005.
